Who we are

With over 20 years' experience of computer interactive design behind us, often working together on the same projects, we decided to join forces and form Touch Gallery in early 2011. Our aim is to produce high-quality computer interactives for museums and galleries at an affordable price.

We are happy to take on entire projects as Touch Gallery, or to work independently as freelancers. Previous employers include companies such as Elbow Productions, Querceus Design, and The Workhaus.

We employ a large network of freelance specialists, including writers, illustrators, designers, animators, and developers that we call upon as required.

Nick Russell

My first career was working as a sound engineer in various major London recording studios.

I then turned my hand to 3D animation and spent many years producing graphics and animations for television, in particular in the field of education for the likes of the BBC and Channel 4. I also began developing material for interactive computer-based training systems.

In 2005 I was asked to create an attraction for the London Natural History Museum's Diamonds exhibition and have been working with museums and galleries ever since.

Recently I have also been helping design interactive rides for theme parks and and other visitor attractions.

You won't find me on Linked-in... or any of those other spam vectors... but I've been online since the 1980s, including sysopping on Compuserve.

I've done lots of multimedia: screensavers, training, websites, interactive video, kiosks, games, databases and content management systems.

I'm currently working on an e-commerce site.

I also play music, make cider, and muck about with tractors. Oo-arr.
